Wilderness fly fishing Rainbow Trout Lodge & Steelhead Camp near Smithers in northern British Columbia.
Established in the early 1950's, when northern British Columbia was truly a frontier wilderness. With the help of a local BC Native Indian village, now called Fort Babine, the lodge was hand-crafted from trees on the shores of 100 mile long Babine Lake.
Since then, Babine Norlakes Management has changed little. Best of all, the world class Babine River Rainbow trout is just as incredible as ever; maybe even more so, due to the modern angler. This is British Columbia Rainbow trout fly fishing that's not to be missed!
In 1965, the Steelhead Camp on the Babine River began a long-standing reputation of astounding anglers. Words cannot describe the magic of fishing on perhaps the best Steelhead river in the world!
